Welcome to mylot
I write letters to my special friends and my sons once a week, though we have email communication too, this writing is essential to keep my hand writing still good, i write my research papers by hand too..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.

Hi noodleboy
Come to think of it, you are right with the emergence of electronic mail nobody writes letter anymore. However I still write my own greetings in birthday cards and Christmas. Its kind of like saying "i missed writing a letter" or receiving one for that matter.

Its kind of like saying' i missed writing a letter' or receiving one for that matter. However, sometimes I am afraid that somebody will say'it's so out of date, why not send me a email and save some time' after receiving handwriting letter.

oh,this topic brings back sweet memories for me.and i admit,i do write a lot of handwriting letters and give it to friends, sometimes send them in post offices,or the like.i loved writing to friends who became close to my heart, but yes, nowadays i just write them using emails.it feels nice to receive a letter from far away friend.it warms my heart everytime i received one, specially when the person is really dear to me.i also send them right away my urgent response.it feels good to have communications still even we are very far from each other.
i guess the last time i did a handwriting letter is 6-8 years ago,if i'm not mistaken.
oh,i missed those sweet moments...
