does make-ups have expiration date?

i have a lots of make-ups that i havent used.i was wondering if most of this are already expired?

Yes, all sorts of make up has an expiration date, but how long make up stays good for depends on what kind of make up it is. Mascara and anything you put near your eye goes bad first, while powders and such things stay good for longer. Some make up things even have expiration dates on the box now, have you checked for that?

I have been wondering because all of my make ups especially liquid foundation, blush on, lipstick, eye shadows and more they don't put expiration date even in the box. I'm afraid to use some of my old stuff. I gave some to my cousin then after she used it she got rashes on her face and the lipstick makes her lips turn dark. I don't want it to happen to me. I think all manufacturers of make ups should put an expiration date so that we will discard all that are harmful to our skin.

Yes it has expiration. But it takes months or years i think. When your make ups are already expired the appearance and effects are also changed.

I guess it depends on which make ups you are referring to if its just a powder I guess that one dont have any expiration. But for the liquid thing it could lipstick or eyeliner or maybe a liquid foundation. I guess they have expiration.
I am just no so sure about it.
