India's $35 laptop

My, my... Our teacher has just told us about India's $35 laptop. I was so amazed by the word "laptop" combined with "$35". So cheap! I hope it will be out in the Philippine market very soon. My professor also said that there's a chance that the price of that laptop will even be lesser when it will be out in the market.

Laptop for $35? That is so cheap!!! What kind of laptop is that? Maybe this is a toy. hahaha. i wonder what features this laptop have. Did your teacher show you image of this laptop. If ever this come out in the market, surely all people will grab this.

No, it's not a toy, it really is a laptop. There's even videos about it in youtube. It's a tablet look and touch screen. Kinda like an ipad.

OMG! *moves to India* Wow that's so ridiculously cheap! I literally have 35 dollars right in my purse right now! Is it used? Well even so, it's a outstanding deal. My laptop costed me like 400$ and it's pretty decent.

the news is correct. The laptop will be available by the end of 2010 or begining of 2011 in Indian market. I got this information from concerned talks from Indian Prime Minister that i got to see in television. Hope this price will again be lesser. The laptop may contain Atom processor according to initial reports. Thanks

I heard about a cheap laptop but I didnt know it's that cheap, but I think it has not yet been released even in India. So don't expect it to be available there anytime soon.

That is amazing! But will it have all the functions a more expensive laptop has? It seems like they must be skimping on something to make it that cheap. I would love to hear more about this!
