These past couple of days, I didn't realize that I'm most active on myLot instead of facebook. Sometimes I forgot to check my account on facebook because I'm busy here in myLot posting on discussions, reading on discussions that others have started. I am actually enjoying myLot today rather than facebook. But the difference is here in myLot you are getting paid for posting on discussions. Like in facebook, you are also making friends here.

Hi sadsad,
I see facebook and mylot as too completely different things. I would not compare them. We don't get to learn anything from facebook, just keep in touch with some of our school and college friends and their updates. But here you get to learn a whole lot of different things. Make new friends and get to know many things from them, from people all around the world. I don't think that can be achieved on facebook. If there is anything interesting on facebook, it's the quizes and few more things but you don't get to feel what it is like being here on facebook. It's just whole lot better.
Welcome to mylot, have a nice time here.

Nowadays, I like myLot than facebook. I learn a lot here than there. That thing is more on networking than educating people. While I was surfing there, I found a lot of things that are not good to do in facebook, and even my own security and privacy can be evaded by everyone. Unlike here I can write something and I can find a lot of people who have different things.

we learn a lot on mylot by mutual exchange of ideas. if our aim in life is clear, we can be benefited by myLot in many ways. by our postings here, in due course of time we may develop the touch of the master and expert. This will add to our earnings, and also provide intellectual satisfaction. Man doesn't live by bread alone. Every person has intellectual and spiritual hunger inside the innermost heart, and this may be satisfied only by sites like myLot.

I love Facebook as I get to catch up with a lot of friends and I like the games on there, but if I am not careful I will spend way too much time on there and never get any work done in a day. I need to watch what sites I am on and how much time I spend on each as I have to make sure that I am making some money on the sites that I spend a lot of time on. I am trying to make writing my living and so I need to be sure that I am dividing my time equally at least.

That's perfectly right. Time is money. Visit only those sites that pay according to the time spent. more important than increased earnings is inner satifaction.

I spend more time here in mylot than in facebook as well. I check my facebook maybe 3 tiems a day. But I spend more time here primarily because there are no discussions in facebook. You are only informed on what is going on in your friends' lives. I like the discussions here in mylot because we get to interact more with people. There is exchange of ideas and opinions and we even get paid for it. That's a whole new level of social networking unlike facebook. I'm glad I joined mylot!

mylot is more creative than Facebook. Facebook only has news about our friends. But here thereis a whole creative worls to share our ideas and writings. At times, Facebook becomes monotonous. Same friends, nothing new to elevate our soul.

I don't really visit Facebook, once in awhile I do, but not often. I prefer MyLot because it's not just staring at your friends' stats and pictures.

You are right. On facebook we feel as if we were opening a telephone directory. This becomes boring and unpleasant. Unless there are intellectual discussions on different topics, our soul remains hungry. As the body needs food for survival, similarly the soul requires noble ideas to feed it.

I got to agree with you that myLot is much more enjoyable once you started. Facebook is all about making acquaintances, a means of connecting with long lost friends mostly from schools. The most annoying part of FB are friends who boast up everyday.

Facebook to me is a waste of time! I am sorry I don't mean to hurt the feelings of those who are so addicted to facebook. But you know I am a very practical person. I want each moment to have productive results and I simply could not find productivity from facebook. But mylot makes me productive. I earn in every post apart from learning and gaining friends too. So it is wiser to stay here at mylot.

I am not a regular user of Facebook account.Whenever I come online, I do login to Facebook but just to check messages and accept friends' request but when it comes to myLot, it's completely different.I may not be actively responding to myLotters' discussions but I am always online on myLot. I love to go through myLotters' postings and I seriously enjoy being here on myLot than on any other Social Networking or forums.I get paid, I get to know lot of people and interact as well as learn a lot from fellow myLotters.

I do agre with you. I would rather be here thatn facebook, however, I do go there to see what is going on, and to play farmville mostly. When it comes to having fun, this is the place to be, that is for sure. facebook is a good place to make friends too, like yo9u said, but it can also be boring as well. I do go in there everyday though for a little bit anyway, but then I will do the other sites I am a member of oor I will come back in here. Good luck to you, and happy mylotting.

i love mylot and facebook, i just log in on facebook when im done here on mylot. i prioritize mylot because i can earn money from it by participating in discussions. well, facebook doesnt pay their members. hehehe... so its better to spend it here and at the same time, you;re earning too...

Haha! I'm in the same lot as you are! Though I still login to facebook, I don't participate actively much anymore. Most of my attention is focused here.
Maybe because I'm still so excited about the idea of talking to people I only know virtually. Or that I just like voicing out my opinions so freely like this without anyone else to think about. It's so liberating and I love it! :))

Same here! haha. I just got back here in mylot and I am enjoying everything again. And just this morning, after I finish doing errands, I totally forgot to check my facebook account since I have been answering discussions here. But then it hit me! My facebook games. So yeah, I did not totally forgot it, just somehow, a few hours of it. haha
