With the statement, Its better to lose your ego to the one you love rather than lose the one you love to your ego?

Well said, I agree with this statement a lot. So much I put my AOL Instant Messanger status to it. Most people I know say they love someone, then completely blow it by saying something stupid and rude around their friends and losing that person, and while seeing them torn up is pretty sad, everyone feels worse for the person that their ego hurt.

See that's waht i am saying it good to get angry rather than just keep quiet all the time, that way you are just giving everything up, but when you fight and wait for your partner to make up first that is ego at work. You should walk across and talk. Talking solves most of the problems in the world. Wish we could fix most of the world peace problems with talks too...

Of course it's better loose your ego to the one you love, but at the same time that person should realize that too. Some take advantage of that. Especially when it comes couples. If one person gives up all the time, coz that person doesn't want to loose the other, the other takes advantage of this for his personal purposes n pleasures
There is no use in one person loosing ego for the other, both have to..

I love your reply vjsinduja, but though we know what is right, we still tend to let the ego get in the way and alwauys hurting someone we love if not losing them. Ego should be replaced with self respect for us to gain more love...

It is truly said. A lot of your work have to do with not allowing your character to have an ego in a way that the stomach doesn't have an ego when it's wanting to throw up. Ego is a human nature, and if you not control you are going to loose your love forever.

I agree with the statement. I think it's awful to lose the one we love to our ego. I mean, we always hope for a long-lasting good relationship with the one we love. and ego is temporary (for so many cases).
so losing the possible long-lasting good relationship to a temporary thing like ego, it's just not worth it. :(

Yes friend i too agree about this. Because one of my friend was having too many ego but when he fall in love then suddenly he changed alot within a week!!! i surprised and he use to follow what his partner says. From that i came to know love can make anything.
