Do you have problems?

From one of my hubs: "You can face your problem just like how you climb a mountain.... If you worry and do nothing; if you worry too much that you will not succeed, then you will end up seeking the help of a shrink, or end up in a mental institution. You do not have to worry too much. Face each day, and face your problems one at a time...." I wrote these lines because I am currently riddled with all sorts of predicaments. I was in a panic mode but realized that it would not do me any good. I may end loosing my sanity LOL if I behave in such a manner. God is my strength. It may sound cliche to some but it is true. I cling to hope and bear in my mind that there is end to all things, including miseries. One of my co-employees tell me that I am a happy person that seem to have no problems. He doesn't know what I have been going through. And it may not help sharing to every warm body what I am going through. It is a comfort that I have friends. It is a comfort that I have a loving family though not a perfect one but we know we will always be there for each other.

Everyone needs friends and a listening ear. To those of us who are Christian we can lean on God for guidance and it makes it a little easier for us than for those who keep their problems all to themselves. I have been going through a lot since November when I was diagnosed as having a heart condition and have been going through a ton of related health problems including depression. If I didn't have my spouse, friends and God to talk to about all that is going on in my life, I honestly don't know where I would be right now. I had to forget about the stigmas that go with mental illness and start taking medicine for my depression and start seeing a counselor because I knew I needed the extra help. Sometimes there are things that are over our heads and out of our control and I think we will do best when we realize this.

Of course I do..everyone of us has a problem..It's part of life..The best thing that we can do is look on the bright side and be optimistic...I also understand your feelings, sometimes i thought that there's no end to my problems, but i just keep on believing that everything will be okay...Don't lose hope.

everyone has their own problems including me, what important things for us who currently have some problems is not to avoid them but face them. like the laddy said we should deal with problems one at a time.

Hi Bingskee, I used to worry so so much about things going on in my life. I did discover years ago that when I resigned myself to let go of the worries and just trust that everything would work out just as it is supposed to, then that is when things happened. I could give you countless examples but I won't. Once was when I was staying in a tent with all my (very young at the time) children. Fall was quickly approaching and I needed to find a real apartment in order to register my oldest daughter in school. Fall was quickly approaching and soon it would be too cold to stay in the tent. Around here, if you do not have a legal address then they take your children from you. I was in panic mode to say the least. Finally, I just gave in and relaxed and decided that I was just making myself sick with worry and it wasn't helping. The very next day, I ran into the father of one of my oldest daughter's friends that used to spend a lot of time at our place. We stopped to catch up and I mentioned that I would love for the girls to get together again and explained my dilema. To my surprise, he had rental properties aside from his regular job. He immediately set me up in an apartment that while wasn't what I would have chosen for us...it was a real home. Every single time I've reached a near breaking point and then backed off and left my situation to the powers that be....something positive has happened and often nothing short of miraculous.

I totally agree with you on this one. All miseries and problems has an end. Why did I know this? It's based from my own experience. Life is full of challenges and my life has been like that ever since. However, I'm still here. I'm alive. All those challenges or problems did not kill me. Instead, they made me stronger and wiser. I might have end up killing my self if I let it ruined my sanity by thinking and worrying about it too much. That's why I did not allow my self to be destructed by those problems. I believe that we always have to look at the positive side of everything. I'm living my life that way and I'd say it's doing me good. :)

am i so glad to know that! :-) worrying too much will not help. if i remember it right, there is a passage in the Bible that says one cannot make white hair black by worrying. after each problem, we become wiser and strong, i agree. we become a changed person.

I think everyone of us got problems.Emotional-love, physical-health, Mental-Money LOL! It totally depends on the person who handles the problem, on how to cope with it and finally solve it... If you are strong enough to deal with it that's fine, it's a normal thing that we are experiencing such. My motto in life is different...Don't think of problems, Let the problem think on how they can find me. As long as I have God in my side I will not fear, because i know that he won't give such trial in my life that i would not be able to handle. That's the spirit. So dear friends, stop crying or the feeling of sadness, think of how terrible some people in the street begging for food, or a cancer patient in the dying ward, just think of how lucky you are still that you weren't in the worsts of situation. Hope this enlightens you all. Have a nice day!

some problems are petty. some are truly heavy to bear. there are things that become uncontrollable and we sometimes feel we are alone. i would like to share we are not.

I have heard that a person can go crazy in certain predicaments, I often wondered how true that can be? I feel like you that even in the worse situations I see some kind of good that should come out of it. I have seen some pretty bad times in my life. I used to think "Why?" but after years of time gone by I found it it was only for the best. There was always something that was good out of the whole thing or a lesson to be learned. God is my strength and hope to accept what is to come because I am his child. He can foresee my future. He even knows when it will be time to call me home.

it is true that some go crazy. i think it happens because of lack of faith in one's self, and in God. or maybe the person has a weak disposition, or there are nobody or people who gives emotional support. that is positive. to look at problems that way, that they can produce good in the future, is inspiring. there are truly lessons learned.

i believe that trust in God is very important. though life seem to be truly challenging, there is a God who knows we can conquer them. He doesnt give problems we cannot be able to solve.
