Simple circuit electronic projects

My youngest daughter was bored yesterday so I told her to grab a science book and find an experiment to try out. She chose to play with circuits. This was the first time she got to play with this type of electronics. Wires, batteries, bulbs, buzzers... she had a blast. She created a game out of it (thanks to the directions in the book). The object of the game is to pass a hoop through a 'mazed' wire without touching it. If you do happen to touch it, the light turns on and you lose! When hubby went shopping for these materials, he purchased additional gadgets to make the game a little more interesting (it's a man thing!) Today they plan to tweak this game to include an off/on switch with light indicator, and a buzzer. This will prove to be interesting. Did you play with circuits when you were a child? What type of projects did you build? Did you have a set or spare parts to play with?

Nice! Electro-mechanics rather than electronics but still good learning and fun all the best urban

Thanks for correcting me. This is all new to me so I'm learning along with her. Electro-mechanics! Maybe that's why I'm having a hard time finding more resources online LOL
