being addicted to computers--- is it good or bad??

I do spend many hours each and every day on the computer. I wouldn't say I am addicted to the computer. It is more of a necessity that I am spending so much time on the computer, both for my work and for personal communications. The internet has become the information highway for a variety of things. Much faster and better in many ways than going to a library !

I'm a computer addict out of this world. Its never a day I go without being online. I can't help it. I feel that its a good thing when it comes to learning about different things. Its bad when you're trying to get involved with things that are dangerous. Its always good to take precaution while being online at all giving times. Long as you keep all the important safety in mind then you should be ok.

Hi. I think your discussion title that you have started and the actual discussion you have posted differs. Your title poses about addiction(computer) while your discussion details seems to be concerned with the good things that mastering the usage of a computer brings. Addiction is bad, no matter what the addiction is all about or what you are addicted to. Addiction, if not identified, and corrected, kills. But if you are discussing about the benefits that computers bring to us, then it should be a different discussion topic altogether.

Yes computer is the latest gadget which has mesmerized all the nation. I find it good too...we must keep pace with the development so computers have become a necessity for human beings. I use computer everyday specially the net...I work a lot in my computer.....thanks to the person who has created it.

well. . Computers are revolution-arising everything.. now we can see machines are now computer controlled... So Computer is good . . being addicted to the Computer.. is OK ... only when its for a cause..if u are using it for a sole purpose of gaming and watching movies.. im afraid to say u are just wasting money . ..Sooo use computer learnin and mastering new softwares..and bring innovation for the mankind .. :)

I think it is good. I have learned alot from computers. My school is going better because of it. And i have made alot of new irl and not irl friends here too...
