T-Mac was undeniably one of the best scorers in the league, that was prior to his injuries. What would Detroit benefit on this deal? Will Shaq fit in with the Celtics type of Game? What do you guys think?

i don't think t-mac is going to do that much for the pistons as they need alot more then him to turn their team around. as far as shaq goes he could benefit the celtics mostly for the defending the paint and dunking the ball. i don't shaq would fit well at all with the celtics if he didn't make dunks or easy layups. hes just too bad from the freethrow line and the celtics are one of the best teams in the league when it comes to freethrows. if shaq messes with their freethrow percentage too much it would hurt the team. so as long as he would just defended, rebound, and get easy baskets i think he would help them win.

Perkins is also not good on the line, but I think he would help open up the shooters. For T-Mac, I just hope he stays healthy.

I don't think T-mac will make a big impact on the pistons, but I know that Shaq will be vital in the Celtic's rotation.

I am thinking the exact opposite. I think T-Mac will make a huge change in the Pistons and I think he fits the style of play. On the other hand , Shaq will be tired very fast and is already pretty old to play how the Celtics do.

When T-Mac signed with the Knicks, he didn't played as dominant as he was offensive wise as he was before his injuries. but the guy can still score. Not that he can take over games all the time but he is still capable of doing that if he's healthy. I think he can contribute as a G/F. Not sure if he starts the game but for sure he can still score. As for the Big Shamrock in the Celtics, with the injury of Kendrick Perkins, the Celtics needs a defensive big-man to replace him as he undergoes surgery.. Shaq is the perfect fit in my opinion because I think he is craving for another title even more than he did in his stunts in Phoenix and Cleveland because Kobe has 1 more than him. In a psychological aspect, if I were in Shaq's shoes right now, I'd definitely find a playoff team who I can compete against Kobe and possibly win against Kobe to tie him with 5 championships a piece. Best of luck

As long as T-Mac remains healthy and given his playing time he would help the Pistons a lot. Shaq would fit in as long as he accepts his role in the Celtics rotation.

Diesel is going to lay his weight on the opposing team's big men in the playoffs. This is going to wear down the Orlando Superman, the Miami Heat backlog of post men, the Laker big men, etc in a playoff series. Doc Rivers just need to play him conservatively during the season. T-Mac jams up the development of some of the young wing players that Joe Dumars drafted a year ago. Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, and Ben Gordon aren't that accomodating to giving up any of their minutes either. It makes me think that a trade will coming during the line. We'll see but it definitely postpones McGrady's championship aspirations for a while. He's looking to prove that he's still a high caliber player. Again, we'll see.
