The National Food Authority is selling it's old stock rice and it's going to used in the feeding program of Day Care Center.I saw in television that the rice has already many insects in it.Poor people are happy about this, but the sad side there is,you will be feed by a food that we can call it a trash.
If you are a mother, are you in favor or willing to risk your kids health to eat that kind of food? Happy mylotting..

I think this is unthinkable, imagine, feeding youths with spoiled rice? Wala nang makain, nagtitiyaga na lang nga sa public day care tapos pakakainin nga ng libre, me panganib naman. Well, who cares sabi nga ni Kris, Ay, nakaawa naman sila, they're not blessed kasi ,eh! Kung ang anak kaya ni Kris ang nasa public Day care pakakainin din ng rice na 'to? I don't think so!

as a mother, i wouldn't want to feed such food to my son,as much as i can but many starving children would eat this, just to fill their empty stomach. So sad to think that the government downgrades their citizen so much. when they could have given the rice much earlier, they chose to do this things. a lot of officials are so greedy. Just to corrupt, they don't do their proper inventory but worse of it, they dont even mind to just give it away earlier than waste evrything. waste the people's money and starve the poor people. I just hope that the people behind this negligent act should and can pay

Do you mean you saw in the news that the rice distributed in the feeding program are insect infested? If that's the case, then that should be reported to NFA head office. What I heard in the news is that NFA will be selling all rice not fit for consumption to the feed millers (who will process the rice for animal feeds). They will not be distributing rotting rice. NFA said they will submit the rice to analysis before selling and distributing it.

elle, I hope they don't give the insect infested rice to the children. That is detrimental to the health. The DOH must stop this.
