Good evening everyone! I am typing this message on my son's iPod Touch. I didn't realize you can do so much on these things. The only thing you can't do on this thing is talk but yet, you can still communicate with it. Now I know why my son was begging for it, lol : ) Do you own an iPod Touch? I suggest you get one if you don't.

I've been drooling over this gadget for years but I simply can't justify the purchase. This September might change things. With the new Facetime camera and all, I just *might* get my hands on one.

I think you are thinking of the iPhone 4, the ipod touch is basically the same thing except you cannot make calls from it. It is really great to have though, since you can do so much on it.

Sorry I didn't realize they came out with a new iPod touch when I posted this a few days ago. SO crazy what they have done with technology.

Yes, it's a multi-function device which I think it's very useful for young generation. I do not have iPod touch but I do have iPhone 3GS. Most of the time I use it to surf net, sometimes I will listen to music and watching movie on iPhone. I also will insert some eBook there so that I can read them anytime I want.

There really is so much that you can do with it, I also read books on it, which is really nice as well.

Hi Linda, I'm glad you're enjoying your son's iPod Touch. As with the other users, I think it is a very useful and entertaining gadget. I mostly use it to surf the net, read e-books, communicate with friends, listen to music, and play some games. I think you'll find that you can also talk with another person using the iPod Touch as long as you have the earphones with the microphone function. There's even an app which lets you record yourself while you sing karaoke using the songs in your playlist. :) In my experience, the availability of wifi connections is one of the limitations of the iPod Touch. This is where the 3G connection of the iPhone would come in. However, one thing I love about the iPod Touch is that I can use it even in the middle of long flights, while the iPhone cannot be turned on the entire time even if in flight mode (if you follow the instructions of the flight attendants, that is.) :p

Well I had a iPod touch but then traded it in and decided to go with the iPhone. I might as well have since the only thing the touch was missing was the phone. But now I think I should of stayed with the touch. I mainly use the Internet on my iPhone. But it's still a great tool. Especially having all the great apps. The iPod touch and the iPhone are one of the greatest technologies to me right now. I order food, pay my bills, turn my tv on and off, etc. I Love my iPhone. It's to cool.
