Im just wondering even if nothing happens won't people stock up on food and supplies and guns.And will business be open in the weeks prior to the supposed end of the world.Wouldn't it suck if you had to go to work December 21 2012, im pretty sure id call in sick.

Those videos about the 2012 scattering around the web before the 2012 movie was released was just a scam, so people would watch the movie. There maybe some truth in it, about the mayan calendar, the chinese i-ching, but why the hell they all came in the heat, just before the maybe would be release?.. See the catch in there. It could be that these bloggers are paid from the hollywood movie producers to fuel up the heat and controversy, so the movie would get much attention.

Yes, they are just promotional tools used to make more dollars. There were happenings like that before, predicting that on the year so and so, the world will end, and the world did not end.
