I cam across this article that says that politicians was able to go around the NO wang wang policy. And how did they do that? by using traffic sweepers! Traffic sweepers are basically made of either motorcycles or vehicles which blocks the traffic allowing the main vehicle of the convoy to pass through.
How brilliant is this idea? oh well as the saying goes if there is a will there is a way.

Where do you live? I am from Davao and I think we are now following the No Wand-Wang policy without using traffic sweepers to block the passage of the convoy. There are securities around the convoy, since it's their rights, to protect them from any attempt but not to make a path for them.

Simply pathetic! This is the way our politicians behave and to think they are called "honorables". I have encountered some of these inconsiderate hooligans in the streets and I don't budge even an inch from where I am just to let them pass. I always try to show them that I also have equal rights to use the streets. Again, using my term in my other discussions, damn with the special treatment of our politicians. My advice: stay on your lane! :-))

ohh i love this! i mean, even the commemorative plates were no more! :D its just the best thing that has happened in the streets, roads so far! :D Well this sure serves the public officials right. they are no longer allowed to use wang wangs and this means, less people would be abusive of the opportunity... I feel this is one step up the situation where we are in right now... we are stuck in the traffic and these people using wang wang just so they can get away with it... tsk tsk. go Pnoy! more of these please!!

I really hope that all of this will not be in vain. For the meantime, let's try to enjoy this while it lasts. I have been seeing again vehicles with commemorative plates. There are still hardheaded and arrogant people around.
