Isabela, Basilan wonderful place deep down south!

Ever been to Basilan? I went there way back 2003, week after the shoot out between the military and rebels. It was my first out of town with my friends who are locals of Isabela, Basilan. We took the first flight going to Zamboanga City and another 1 hour by supercat(boat) going to the island of Basilan. It was an amazing experience for me being alone with friends in the far away island. The place was so nice and the people are warm. If you are nature lover its perfect.. great for trekking and sight seeing.Aside from the scenery, local foods are delicious. Seafoods are flowing like curacha(like crab), pugot(fish), lobster, shrimps, etc... Good we have place like Basilan. I fell in love with the place!
