Hi,
Although I am an engineering graduate I really like ancient history. The tales of ancient civilization always amazes me. When the historians and scientists try to reconstruct the entire civilization from the tiny left overs of time, it almost seems like a postmortem to me. It's a highly scientific approach. Only a pair of highly trained eyes can detect objects of interest and relevance. Then comes the analysis and speculations. Several components of a structure are collected and then the entire structure is reconstructed. It is also interesting how the scientists come up with very definite ideas about the lifestyles of ancient people. Thanks.
God bless you

Hi dear,
When I was studying for graduation, history was the subordinate subject. In fact I like ancient history. At that time there were not much TV programs and articles available. We need to depend on books only.
Now the things have changed. Whatever we need is readily available in the net and we can do better research and more details also. I think you enjoy the studies and it is fun to learn more and more about the earlier history.
Best of luck and do study well.
Regards,
Thank-s

I like history, be it the Levantine civilizations (Sumer, Akkad, Ebla etc.), Mycenian or Far eastern. Its interesting to study how these ancient megalopolis function similar to our modern cities, albeit low tech.

Hi :-)
What part of Ancient History is your exam about?
I like any history, especially if there's something we can learn from, so that history doesn't repeat itself so frequently. I even find value in folklore & mythology. It is interesting to see how far we've come or if there's some things we should learn from the people back then. I liked history exams as there were no real right or wrong answers, but more emphasis was on how one argued their case, which gives us a good opportunity to develop ourselves further.
All the Best in your Exam; hope you're looking forward to it :-)
