Which brand do you think is most durable for laptops.
I think most brands have pros and cons.
The most durable one i used before is IBM Thinkpad series (T42)
Dell got great services but my dell laptop(Hitachi harddisk) crashed twice in 2 years time :D

Every brand has a particular series of laptops which they place under the tough and durable section(I saw one bulletproof laptop), if we exclude these laptops and consider only the general laptop production I think MACS are durable, IBM also seems to be durable but the body is not that tough i suppose.

The IBM is very durable in the lists of laptops. I have been using IBM since 3 years and till now there is not even a single complaint or crash reported. The battery even is so powerful and I prefer IBM to any other brands.

Yup. IBM is really durable, too bad now is being sold to lenovo. Quality is not the same anymore. After Thinkpad T42, i use T60, too bad the quality of the material is different, even the software crashes more often.
However, i think IBM still produce thinkpad, only not commercially available, but is available to its staffs.

I think everyone has different experience when comes to technology.
some feel this is better & other feels that.
also it depends on which model of which brand ur buying.
For some brands some models are really durable & famous.
but it doesn't mean that that brand is most durable.
In my experience Dell is overall ok
