Home improvements takes so long...!

So My fiance and I are doing a couple home projects and it seems to be taking forever to finish!!! we have a half built bedroom and our kitchen is just rediculous! lol!! Does this sort of thing happen alot when people do home improvent projects themselves?? Should it take more then a month? Does anyone have suggestions for floor coverings that are not to expensive, and somewhat fast going in? I have heard of something called carpet tiles.... Has anyone ever used these and if so would you recommend using them? We need help! Maybe next time we should hire a professional ha save us some hammer hits to the thumb and slivers and many other annoying things that come along with colnstruction hehe!!

Come on, be calm, take it easy,
Any task where you may not have that much expertise, where there's not that much staff to help and it's very detailed to do, will have to take some time to be done correctly.
Don't be hard on yourself, eventually you'll enjoy your finished work !!

I know its just so hard to be patient... I cant wait to see the finished product haha! exspecially the kitchen! cant wait to see the kitchen I designed ready for use... Its going to be great!! wow I am really inpatiant!
