So...here in the midwest we have been dealing with a major hot summer....no central air but a window unit that leaves one room in the house somewhat cooler than the rest of the house so we have been basically camping in our living room this summer when we are home.
I live in Michigan and I can say that I can not remember a summer with so many weather catastrophes.... we have had flood warnings, tornadoes, and thunderstorms...and I am sure it is due to the heat that we experiencing this year.
What has your area been dealing with??.... droughts, water restrictions, heat advisories... or has this been a normal summer for your area?

Hello...here in the Philippines is out wet season time. It's the season wherein we experience also lots of unexpected storms causing our country flooded to some areas, lots of thunderstorms also and moonsoon rains, mudslides and other calamities. But we don't experience here tornados. After the rains and storms, we get back again to the warm weather and experience again droughts. All these conditions are expected in our country all year round and to the rest of our lives.

It is crazy to go from a wet season to a drought but if you are prepared and expect it then there are ways to prepare for it... I think here in the US it has been so unpredictable that we are just in shock... I mean its the hottest summer on record ever here... so many states are reaching record highs...and the rain has been unrelieved in other areas that they are actually flooded and being evacuated from homes in areas that haven't seen this much rain.
But if it was a normal summer we would know what to expect and be more prepared.
thanks for the response and have a great day!!

It's just been hot and humid. But then again, it is usually hot and humid here in New Jersey. I'd rather have a thunderstorm than muggy weather. You can't do anything outside anyway. And if it's raining, I have an excuse to be inside on the computer.

I hope you have a good day too!
My computer time has been lacking as well. And that's not good since it will probably be lacking more once school starts.

that has been the sad part...when rain finally comes through it usually cools us off only the muggy weather stays with the rain and we dont get any relief after the rain is gone. Being almost 7 mos pregnant I am really looking for relief to come and I am not one to rush summer but fall weather sounds really nice right now!!
thanks for the response and I hope you at least have air or a way to stay cool!! Have a great day!!

We have had major heat waves.....tons of rain and a tornado that touched down on at least 60 farms etc in our area...it was a total mess....I do hope sometimes soon we get some dry weather....this rain is making me crazy....but all the crops around here are going to be like one of the best they have had in years!
