TV series with special effects

I noticed nowadays that most of the film/movies whether international or local have a sci-fi set up. I admit that those movie effects implemented in most films from the USA are amazing. I admire the ingenuity of those people who made them possible. But most sci-fi movies have violent fighting so I believe those sci-fi effects should be done only for movies and not for TV series. Most especially if those effects are done by the locals. Most households have a TV set where children have the access and I'm sure there's a bad side effect to them seeing too much violence.
