Yes i do agree with you because one can only realize the value of something when we don't have it. That's what life teaches us. One should try and work hard to achieve his/her goal. If everything is gained easily then they don't realize the value of that particular object or person. It's easy to lose something but very difficult to gain it. Even reputations are the same. They take years to build but can be lost in just one moment. Such things in life are hard to come by and when they do come one should take utmost care so that one will not lose any such thing again. Life does not give second chances so i suggest that you take whatever you have got right now and try to enjoy life to the fullest.
