Are you "third eye blind"?

No, I'm not talking about the band. I'm talking abou your REAL third eye. Yes, you do have one, although it is not an eye in the same sense as the two on your face that you see with.
Directly centered between the eyebrows lies the pineal gland, and there is a large nerve infrastructure located there. This has been directly associated with the Ajna Chakra, or energy point, in the body. An active third eye, such as my own, can percieve changes in light and mass, even when your eyes are closed! Some scholars insist that intense concentration to your third eye can give the person telesopic or microscopic vision...I haven't explore that much yet though!
It also is responsible in some beliefs for perception and intuition...even astral projection and out of body experiences!
What about you? Have you ever had a tingling sensation go from your forehead down your back and had no idea where it came from, or are you third eye blind?

I am not blind.. but lets say don't see as well as I would like to see. I am third eye- visually impaired..
My room mate is not blind.. he has accomplished astral projection and out of body experiences. .. I have tried to learn how.. but in some of these I am hopeless..
I have tried using it for other things.. relaxation etc. and I can feel it.
Do you think they make glasses (or a monocle) for my impairment?

Ha ha! If only they did! I think the best practice is simply practice itself! Good luck with overcoming your "impairment"... :).

I'm blind...I mean I'm third eye blind. But, wow!, can we really do that? I only though you could see or sense ghosts with this third eye? Once, I saw a friend's mother walking bye. I waved at her and she waved back. Later that afternoon, my friend went over to play chess. I told him I saw his mother and he fell silent. It turned out that his mother passed away a couple of days ago...does this mean my third eye was turned on for that day only?

I came to know about third eye in a song by tool. I have read books since then. I can say my third eye was open, it is not open right. It is open only when I meditate. and this does not happen all the time. But it is one of the things I would like to do in my life.
