here in my country, mobile phones is most widely used even a child of five years got to have his own celphone. one day when i was at my friends house, she was planning to ask our other friends to come over, i was wondering why she have to use her celphone rather than her landline (to think it is more expensive using it) i just did not mind her, we have our own choices do we? so how about you which one would you use?

I do not have a landline phone. I just use my cell phone all the time. It is too expensive to get a landline phone. More and more people here in the US are getting rid of their home phones and opting to use cell phones. It is more convenient and cheaper.

That's very different from where I live. I use both, when I'm home I use my landline if nobody is on the phone. I don't like the cell phone I have right now, things sound different on it. And I also have no caller ID or voice mail so I use my landline a lot.
Whenever I'm not home I use my cell phone because I have to. When I have a new one I'll probably stop using the landline!
