I already had my new mobile phone and I'm planning to sell my old mobile phone (N95-8G) through on-line. I know there's a lot of local on-line buy and sell sites in my country and I can say that most of them are legit. My friends told me that it would be much better to sell it on-line because a lot of people uses the internet and there is a huge chances that I could sell my item in a much competitive price.
I don't have yet any experience selling things in the internet world. Though I already heard good things about selling on-line, there are still things that makes me feel so uncomfortable like dealing with such a stranger or providing personal contact info's for them to contact me.
How about you?
Have you ever tried selling things on-line?
Can you share some good and bad experiences?
What are the pros and cons?
I'd be glad to read some good advice.

Sorry I have not and you were hoping for positive answers, I too am considering selling things and my daughter who is an online queen when it comes to deals says craigslist and ebay are our best bet. I am not sure if you have try craigslist but add the com behind it and see if in you can from where you live. She says she sells many things quickly there as people find this a popular place to buy things asap.
Good luck to you and if I have luck with sites that I can sell things I will be sure to give you a hollar so that you can try as well.

Great glad I could be of assistance. I know my daughter has sold things like shoes, books, electronics and her car.
She has also bought things like household items, lots of people in her own community also have donated things so she really likes craigslist so Good luck to you!

Great! I found out that Craiglist is available in my country and it's very precise and simple compare to other on-line selling sites. It offers direct list of all the items and services offered all over the country.
I'm still studying all the possibilities specially the quick and large exposure of my items. Hope to see some good reviews about this site. Thanks.

Hi dear,
I have purchased some items on-line. The best place is e-bay, and you can do the same via this site. It is simple once you log on to the site all details are provided.
Many options are there it is easy once you go into it. Be prompt and provide the exact details of the item that you are going to sell. Also, the payment method is also simple. You will get more options as e-bay is widely used and more users are there all over the world.
Best of luck,
Regards
Thank-s

I reviewed some items for sale on ebay and most of them are very detailed including the ups and downs of their items. I guess I need to study the whole content of my items so I could easily create details on it.
E-bay is on the top of my list, however I still need to study how it works and how will my items will get good exposure.

I personally have never tried selling something online, but I know people who have. I have also bought things from online sites (both locally and online). Sites I would suggest using (that I have had good experiences with and have heard good things) would be: ebay.com, amazon.com, and craigslist.org.
Hope that helps! :)

Shipping would be the easiest way to do. But is there any other options aside from shipping? I mean how about meet-ups? or Pick-ups? Did you ever experienced this kind of hand-overs?,.

i have sold something from internet(not very often) ,also bought something (very often)
here is my procedures ,i am from china ,so maybe it is different from your country ,only for reference
post your phone selling infromation on the free website ,describe the good with details and paste some pictures with the cellphone , it is not very difficult to operate ,cause now many website has a detail demonstration ,you can follow it
my suggestion is post the information in several website ,this may increase the success chance. and if possible ,try to choose the face to face deal ,or same city deal , it is safe and if has any problems ,you two can solve easily...
now in china ,i sell goods as the above ,and till now ,no problem occur ,so ,hope you can success ,good luck....

I don't try selling anything on line, it seems to complicated when i have things to sell i go to like resale shops that sell new and gently used items and that works out pretty well for me.
