People underestimate the role respect plays in a relationship and assume it is something that is shared between older and younger persons.
Like trust,respect is something you get only if you give.And not respecting your partner is nothing short or an insult.

Yes. there should be respect in any relationship for it to last. But how many have it these days? Very few, I guess. And in my opinion, people would respect you depending on how you behave with them.

Respect can be gained only if you give to other. But for me i don't want respect and i am not interested to give respect to others as well.

Respect is an attractive magnet.Giving respect makes other feel great and hence the society of circle also grows.

Respect is really earn and not imposed. I just learned that from my friend who's been a big winner of Big Brother reality show here in the Philippines. If we would like to be respected by the other people then we really have to project that we must be respected by not doing any nasty things especially if they are not doing anything wrong to us. Men should value respect with their partners as well so that the relationship would be stable.

respect is earned not forced down one's truth to earned it you must also show respect to them by not creating noise for instance you saw your friends studying quietly you can show respect to them by not creating noise or engaging in boisterous laughter with your other friends... how about you friends what is respect to you???

The word respect is important..
It must be present in any kind of relationship..
having lost if respect is the greatest lost of all/ it can end up with the "YOu lost respect for yourself first"
