Teams performance depends a lot on the team combination, and team selectors are as important as coach and captain of the team. Selectors have the responsibility of finding and grooming young talent players as well as keep watch on current players. I am from India and i know that apart from krish srikkanth(chairman of selection committee) no player have proved themselves to have good cricketing brain, then also they are given the responsibility of selecting national side. In India there is no such vital criteria of choosing national selectors, what about countries like austrailia,england....??

Adding to that players are also selected division wise and selectors favors players only from their region. This is not at all fair.........

Well in my opinion srikanth has good cricketing brain alright but he takes decisions out of emotions .I thik instead of being zonal selectors 4 5 best former cricketers should be given chance ,so that selection process is free of zonal politics.Player in form should be given chance rather than player with reputation ,its other way round in indian selection process.I dont think this selection committee has done much for making a good bench strength of the team , having said that they are better than dilip vengsarkar and kiran more's selection committees.

Indian Selectors are doing a great job but still they do mistakes which cannot be blamed entirely on them. It's BCCI have to groom Young all rounders and fast bowlers by providing good quality pitches.
