Prayer and fasting is done in every religion, the christians during lent, the muslims during ramadan, the hindus have special days...please let me know the days you fast and the reason. I do fasting on wednesdays as i dedicate the day to virgin mary. i pray for all the ladies in my life, my mother, sister, wife, mother in law... etc. I do pray everyday for every cause and for everyone...but i dont fast.

I am a Christian but I do not fast at all. It was never brought up when I was growing up. I don't think it is needed to be done. One reason if a person is obese ,like me,it would be completely stupid to do! Fasting for one day and the next day I would be eating twice as much because I am so hungry! So I would put on more weight! So I never will do it! I don't really pray either. I believe God knows what I am thinking and prayer would not needed. This is what I believe.

I know that GOD knows what we want. Like we need food for our body and health. we need prayers for our soul. You dont have you sit with a prayer book or use the exact prayers from church or use sophisticated words. Prayer is a conversation between you and GOD. If you have GOD as your friend halp your problems are solved....GOD BLESS...cheers!!!!!!!

I did pray but never fast as this is not our practice. I do know muslims will fast during their Ramadan month, and will last for month before they celebrate their Raya.

Hi! I don't fast like I should. I tried it once last year and was almost successful. We were asked to fast from 6am to 6pm and I didn't quite make it. I just said to myself the other day edward that I need to start fasting. I do pray however for my family, friends, community, my church family and co-workers. I know from fact that there is power in praying.
