Writing a letter to the man of your dreams

I went into a cursilio house when I was in college. Our facilitator asked us to write a letter to the man of our dreams. We were instructed to write our promise and our deepest thoughts and feelings. This letter should be kept and no one must ever read this except the man whom we are going to marry. No matter if we have or do not have a boyfriend at that time, we took the task. How do you find this task? Will you consider doing this to the man you love?

Wow something to consider on how you would write to someone you loved. I sometimes admire what the youth have which is innocence. I remember the first time I feel in love with a guy how naive I was and my little heart was just so vulnerable. It seems like with time and bad relationships you just grow a callous around your heart. Sometimes you just want to keep quiet to avoid getting hurt, or acting mean to the other person so they don't abuse the fact that you love them. Anyhow I think if I was young again I could sit and write that letter, with an open heart. Maybe tell him how much I love him and would feel like I could die without him. Geez...maybe I'm too old to think of more...

Thanks for considering this one. But I can tell you that there's no age limit in love. Keep the flame alive!

Hi dear, Here in my case it will be girl. Yes, if it was happened in the school or college, there I could have written better than now. If I am not wrong, it was happened to me also, but in a different way. I myself had written few things in a diary assuming that when I become matured and time to marry, these all are the perceptions about her. If it was in the higher school times, I could have still written in a better way. Because, at that time, there was someone in my mind and around. And I wrote, but it remained with me only. Nobody got a chance to read it. Regards, Thank-s

Interesting. I wonder what I would have written back when I was young and single, vs what I would write now.

That is a pretty cool task. =) I definitely would have done it with happiness but I'm already married now. I wish I had to do that assignment when I was in school. =)

Yeah before, maybe 15 years from now, when there are few cellphones, not much doing emails, I wrote back a letter to my boyfriend who is my husband now. I still keep it until now and sometimes I'm reading it and I somehow feel embarrassed but it was my feelings for him before. LOL! Until now it's still the same though in a different level.

If now I like someone, I will write a letter to show my feeling to him. You know that the world is small, so we meet each other. The world is also big enough, so we just passby like a stranger. Maybe he is too shy, or he forget there is a corner which he can meet the Miss. Right. So dont let it go!

She read it and gave me a cute smile. I feel embarressed when i think of it now...
