Happiness is what we are all longing for in this world. You will be regarded as happy or get noticed that you are happy if you are smiling or laughing. Do you still think that Laughter is still the best medicine? If somebody laughs, he or she tends to forget his or her problems temporarily and will definitely relieve stress. So will you agree to the old quote?

laughter just like praying has proved to cure diseases. When we pary we give ourselves to GOD. we forget that we are in pain and have any diseases. The same happens when you laugh you open up yoursefl and you forget your pain and sorrows. When you laugh the mind opens up and clears you of the pain. I do laugh a lot and it has helped my keep stress away.

You are scientifically proven to get health benefits from laughing. :] The happy feeling you get inside when you laugh isn't just because of the fact that you are happy! :D Laughter relaxes your whole body, which will make yer body relaxed for up to 45 minutes after. It also protects the heart, boosts the immune system, and releases endorphins, the body's way of telling your mind to be even happier! Endorphins can even relieve pain. :]

Medicines are taken when you are suffering. It is a kind of battle between you and the ailment. Now if you enter a war without a belief that you are going to win, it is for certain that you lose the battle.
Normally, Laughter is possible only when you are free from stress and pain. This can happen only when you believe that you will win the war. So it gives you a positive note and hence it is considered to be the best medicine. You are in control and have more chances of winning the war against the ailment. So keep smiling

I believe in it, yes. Just yesterday I was feeling really very low when I came home from work. I watched the tube and fortunately got Two Men and a half which gave me a good laugh. That somehow lifted my mood up and even when I had to confront the problem I faced during the day, it wasn't as bad as it was. Laughter really helps.

In today's world laughter is definitely a great medicine. With more and more stress related issues being reported each day, laughter is necessary in everyone's life.
Hopefully everyone can have enough to keep themselves stress free at least for a short period of time.
Cheers!

i believe it's one of the best medicine. when im sad and can't find anything to do to make me smile, i just text a friend i know who can make me laugh. in the office, i make sure i talk to people whom i can laugh with, if not all the time.. always. i guess it's the easiest way to do when you're looking for some sort of diversion, laugh.

the old saying that 'Laughter is the best medicine' is definitely true when it comes to relieving stress.
Research shows that the health benefits of laughter reanging from strengthening the immune system to reducing food cravings to increasing one's threshold for pain. There's even an emerging therapeutic field known as humor therapy to help people heal more quickly, among other things. Humor also has several important stress relieving benefits. How? I will list down the Stress management benefit of laughter by Elizabeth Scott M.S.
1. Hormones - Laughter reduces the level of stress hormones like cortisol, epinephrine(adrenaline), dopamine and growth hormone. It also increases the level of health-enhancing hormones like endorphins and neurotransmitters. It increases the number of antibody-producing cells and enhances the effectiveness of T cells. All this means a stronger immune system, as well as fewer physical effects of stress.
2. Physical release - Laughter provides a physical and emotional release.
3. Internal workout - laughter exercises the diaphragm, contracts the abs and works out the shoulders, leaving muscles more relaxed. It also provide a good work out for the heart.
4. Distraction - it brings focus away from anger, guilt, stress and negative emotions.
5. Perspective - Humor can give us more lighthearted perspective and helps us vieew events as challenges thereby making them less threatening and more positive.
6. Social Benefits - Laughter is contagious so if you bring more laugther into your life, you can most likely help others around you to laugh more and realize these benefits as well.

Hi,
I believe when there is a laughter,it means there is
a happiness. When you feel sad,of course, you won't
feel to laugh at all,Only when you feel happy, then
you will have the mood to laugh out.
When you feel happy, then your face will show smiling and laughing
reaction.
Whenever I feel down and sad, I can't laugh out...I am just not
in the mood of doing it and my face sure will looks moody.
Sometimes, when I am playing with my son and I saw his smiles and laughter,it
really melt my heart and HE is always my sunshine. My son's laughter is
the best medicine to cure my sadness.

Yes, maybe. I ever heard about this therapy. However, I am not sure about it. Whether it is really work or not. I never experienced or heard testimony about laugh remedy the pain. But I do believe that laughing will make us relax. This is good for our brain. Laughing release our brain from stressing. So, for people who have depression, laughing is the alternative medicine to remedy the pain.

I would definitely say that laughter is the best medicine. When we laugh or anticipating them provoke our bodies to produce chemicals called endorphins which are natural stress-busters and are good antibodies.

I smile all the time and i'm a bit happy, but also sick and nerve :)
I think the best medicine for us is to have one rest day every week. Day only for yourself. When you can relax, have fun, do what you want to do :) That's the thing, for me, what relax me and make me feel good, forgetting all my problems :) Cleaning my mind, resting me so much, that the next day i feel reborn.
I think that's the best medicine for us - the way we fight with the pressure. :)
