It is a happy and proud moment for me. My daughter acted in a play in her school. She is three. Though her role was not very important, it was just a small, tiny part, I felt myself fill with pride. But she was definitely the best dressed and cutest among them all. I just wanted to share this happiness with all you people. Thanks.

Aww that is such a big thing for a three year old to do - Im not surprised you are feeling happy and proud. Well done to her. I look forward to the day i see my own daughter in her first play - it will bring back memories as i was always in plays when i was at school!

My daughter has just performed in a dance organised by the school. Although she is positioned not visible on every angle.. :( ..I love it just as much. I know that sometimes its difficult to put everybody in the spotlight, but even if the teachers do not think she is not a great performer, I think she is and that is most important (that we the parents love her whatever position she holds).
Therefore I 'grade' you, keep up the good parenting :)

That's wonderful! You would have been so proud to see your daughter perfom. It is more important to take part in the extra curricular activities than be a star performer. It will give the kids self confidence and boost their self esteem. That is the main reason I signed my daughter up for the play. I was happy to see that she did not freeze on the stage. And thanks for the grade:-)

How exciting for both of you! I am sure she was just the best tree. It is so exciting to see our children do things that they enjoy and are proud of. Hope you got lots of pictures or even video of her acting debut.

She was dressed as a boy in a suit and she was an onlooker in Cinderella's wedding. She looked as handsome as a girl in a boy's suit can be:-) And I have the video of the whole play. I know she would be happy to watch it over and over again for the rest of her life as well as mine.
