Samsung Mythic and Java games/apps!

So I just got my new Samsung Mythic from at&t and i have unlimited data. I wanna download some good games/apps and i've found sites where i can download them but I can't install them on my phone! I've found tutorials on downloading them to a PC and transferring them via data cable, but can't i just download directly to my phone? Any help?
