Changing your pillows

When was the last time you changed your pillow/s? Are they more than a year old or even older? And how often do you change or clean them?
I am just curios since I bought a new pillow yesterday and it's only then that I realized that the pillow I had been using is already 2 years old though I
washed them once every month. I am not sure how often do we need to change or even clean them so I wonder how does everybody here treat their own pillows.

ya,i want to change my pillow ervery month or twice a month.beacause i don't wat the same pillow to useed to sleep.i wants to changen my pillow in my life.

good for you to have them change every month or two but for me washing every month and changing every year is enough. hehe

I don't think it really matters. My pillows are way older then yours. After washing them they got limp and everything but I find them comfortable. If you find the pillows you have comfortable, there is no point in buying more every year or something as long as you keep them clean.

I am about to agree with you when you said you think it doesn't really matter but after reading this article on this link ( http://www.livescience.com/health/051014_pillow_ecosystem.html )I guess I might as well be curious about my pillows but I should not over react of course.. :)

I actually bought new pillows yesterday too. 
I think I change my pillows about 2 a year, or everyone 7-8 months. We wash them every now and then though. It's just we usually but the cheap pillow so they get worn out after a while.
I'm not sure how often we're supposed to change them.. I'm thinking as long as we change the pillow case often, it doesn't really matter.

Yes, you're right, changing pillow cases is really important and I do change them often too..

i change pillows often because i like them fluffy so every year or maybe even less i have new pillows. I'm also really concious of bed bugs too so i'm always getting new bed things. Sheets, comforters, pillow cases, all that good stuff mattress covers too.
