Dr. Quinn TV/Movie Series

I absolutely love the Dr. Quinn TV series. They are in DVD and I have all of them. I think I am in season 5 right now. It is a great and actually educational series that my daughters (age 8 & 12) like (esp the 12 yr old). So much of what the series tells is a version of the way things really were in the 1800's.
Do you like Dr. Quinn? Is there another series that you especially like that is kid-friendly?

I like it for Jane.. My next favorite was full house..where it had 3 kids acting so good.

I loved watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I think it was one of the series during its time where the lead character was a strong-willed woman. She also took on the role of a single parent. I liked it when the people who first thought she was not a good doctor eventually changed their minds. Plus, I wanted her to hook up with Sully. LOL! Not a lot of them in those days. I also liked Black Beauty and Lassie. I think those were kid-friendly, too. Also, Highway to Heaven with Michael Landon. That taught values, too.
