Have you thought about how it will be like for you in 5 years' time? Do you have a plan for your life or are you just living from day to day, take it as it come? Would you remain status quo as you are now, in the same job, living in the same country, doing the same activities day in day out? Any thoughts of having any major change in your life? Share your thoughts please...thanks...

In five years' time, I hope to be studying at college/university, hopefully with a part time job. I'll probably remain in the same status quo, though I'll have different friends that I met at college.

Choose your course of study carefully, preferably it should be in line with the career you have in mind.

Hi bluemoonpavilion, At my age I live life one day at a time. When we are young we often make plans and it's okay if we realize that things can change in the blink of an eye. Blessings.

Hi pose, That is a good philosoply, make plans but always be prepared for change. Sometimes we got angry when things do not go according to plan, that's because we didn't realize change is possible at every moment. Thanks for the sharing. Have a nice day!

My husband and I don't have a five year plan. We do kind of having a one year plan, and that is to save up enough money so that we can rent a house. I still have to find a job though so even if we save up enough money to rent a house, we'll have to wait if I don't have a job, or haven't had the job long enough. I suppose five years down the road we want to have children of our own, but while we've talked about it we're just trying to take things one day at a time. We both suffer from stress, my husband more then I as you can imagine (him bringing in the money solely for the most part) and so while I get excited about moving and going places etc., I try to stay down to earth with my "plans" and "dreams" so we don't.. hmm what's the word for it? Shoot for the moon...

Hi cowgirl, I guess you are a young couple, right? It is always tough in the beginning, starting out on your career, marriage, house and stuff. It will take time to build up. It's good to have short term and long term plans.

Hello bluemoonpavilion, Hmmm.. Five years from here. My graduation would be complete and i would be working. The thought of working itself takes me away, coz right now i am enjoying freely with friends. A lot of responsibility to take after five years so why not enjoy and have fun till then ? Getting a job is one huge step in one's life, isn't it?

Hi voldrox, There are several milestones in our lives. I suppose graduation is one and the next one would be your career. Imagine, there ends your student status and you are now a member of the society. Quite overwhelming right?
