How can you help save the environment?

News about global warming, mother earth and nature is everywhere. Floods, earthquakes, hurricanes are felt all over the world. I can hear of people with advocacies about the environment. I feel alarmed with it. It feels like mother nature is reminding us not to abuse what God has given us. Sometimes we tend to neglect the signs because of development.
In my own way, I recycle paper, plastic and anything I can recycle. What have you done?

This looks impossible, govenment keeps on cutting trees in the name of making city look better, wide roads but the parks have wooden trees..
during my service i always observed the college foundation day as plantation day, the trees in college campur are still growing,

That's exactly what I have been doing and will continue to do, that is recycling all the products and materials which can be reclycled and reused. These materials would amount to millions of tons each year around the world, and to reproduce them starting from the base raw materials would deplete the world of all the valuable resources fast, and that would create the environmental problems.

Unfortunately for me, or for normal people for that matter, we can't give that great of a help to save the environment. If we do this together, however, it'll do a great deal of help. But that won't really assure us that pollution will stop due to people in authority who knows nothing but to earn money and polluting the environment in the process.

True, people in authority should make a lot of effort. But, let us start our own little way too. Maybe others are doing it, so collectively we will be big. Thanks for your comment and happy lotting

Well I am a huge fan of helping to keep our earth clean and healthy not only for ourselves but for our children and their children. At our house we recycle plastic and glass, we use our peels and fruit skins to make compost and we also try and walk more than driving everywhere. Keep up the good work.

Friend its very much difficult to save the environment by a single person so better every single person should grow trees more and all citizens should not cut the trees for silly reasons. If it is so then from normal person it is possible to save the environment. But here the main thing is unity, without the unity we can't do anything or we can't achieve it anything.

That is true my friend. Without unity a task is difficult to achieve. But let us try to unite ourselves for the task. Maybe later our effort will not go to waste.

Plant trees around the place you live. Or at least garden of flowers. You can also develop a habit of not throwing unwanted rubbish out side the place you live. Try to dispose papers and plastics in dust bin. Turn off the taps and light off when not in use.
