Do you think we can fix time schedules for our infants and toddlers?

Since birth, what baby knows is only to cry/scream for help. They cry when they need food, diapers are wet, stomach ache etc....
What happens if a baby cries the whole day, and we have no clue why he/she is crying.
Do you think we can fix the time schedule for our children.
Exmple: Make them sleep at night instead of sleeping too much during daytime.

I think there may be something wrong with the baby if he keeps crying, I suggest you take him to see a doctor. Baby would not like to cry a lot if what they want are meet.
It is quite difficult to make a time schedule for a baby. My son, who is about 17 months now, and he would stay uo untill 10 o'clock in the evening. My wife and me have tried many ways to change his schedule but still get no improvement at all.

Actually my baby is quite ok. Only thing is whenever she demands anything, she will shout quite loud. Since she in only 1 months plus, we are not planning to schedule her activities. Anyway, i think bigger children do need to be given a schedule.
My elder daughter who is 3 yrs++ is still preferring to drink milk rather than some other solids. Therefore, sometimes she will wake up in the wee hours for milk :D

Yes. By putting them in their crib/bed only 'when it is time' (not whenever they fall asleep) only feeding them 'when it is time' (not whenever they're hungry) ... they'll learn that--when 'they are in a certain place'--then it is time to do the certain thing.

It is natural that some babies cry initial as they many not adjust to the environment or fear for something. However, after sometime they will stop crying, it is not possible for them to cry continueosly. It is difficult to analyze the problem but it is better to know the most common medical emergencies in infants.

If any of these symptoms are present better consult pediatician.
