Recently, there is an increasing number of people being scammed by Readbud. Maybe it is the IMCrew making people searching for paid to read article sites, or maybe due to other unknown reasons, you just find more and more people finding site that pays users to read and end up in Readbud the big scam.
Many other experienced myLotters just claim there is no such site up to now, have we forgotten one old legitimate paid to write sites offering this service?
Helium is actually paying people to rate their articles! If you are able to rate 300 articles with an average mark of 85%, or 500 articles with an average mark of 75%, Helium is paying you $3 for 3 months (a total of $9)!
Well, maybe this is not the main service of Helium - they are not paying per article and their system is only updating the number of article you have rated once a day. There is also a risk that if you don't reach the target within a month, you will get paid for nothing that month (so you receive $3 less in total), and as they are paying it as a bonus, you cannot earn more than $9 in total. Worst still, they have a very high payout amount of $25. Yet, while there are no other sites offering similar service and you really want to earn by reading article, and most importantly, it is an old legitimate site that you will surely get paid, why not give it a try?

Readbud is not a scam! You never put up any money to join did you? Why do you think you have been scammed?
From what I have read at readbud they are doing just what they said they would do. Are you sure you are not just sore about the small amount of money you have earned?

I have tried Readbud since the start and had almost neared the $50 payout mark, however what then happens is fewer and fewer articles are available for you to read and rate making your progress practically grind to a halt. The Readbud site is also now full of pop ups and I have not seen one believe instance of someone who has been paid by them.
That is why I believe many people call them a scam site as they are basically renegading on their promise.

Well in this global world companies want to be in competition and therefore they just want to cut their labour cost and so they are nowerdays hiring people who will be able to work from home in contract basis and offcource company saves a lot by letting these people do the work for them. So there is a same type of stratergy taken up by a company in mumbai it as a BPO company and they are hiring people from home who can work for them , Well the work is very unskilled work it is basically the typing work. You just have to wach the image files and then you have to type them in word files. Well the best thing about this company is that it pays in every 15 days and they do not charge any registration fee. I can't give the name of the company directly here but still if you want to join them then you can fill their free registration for by visiting. http://bpojobsforhome.hpage.com/ well this had paid me a lot. I can make 6 to 7 thousand per 15 days easily just by working few hours and somedays I don't even work . Well If you can work hard then you can make a lot more.

I already registered in this company but of course they will not ask you for an up front fee but after you will be a member they will ask you $25 to start working if not you are not allowed to start working or they will not give you a task. Why they will just give you the work i thought it is free. No registration fee or what kind of fee. My philosophy is do not pay in order to wrok but they will pay you in order to work.... could you give a proof that you really earning 7k every 15 days.Thank you

I think getting paid $3 for reading and then rating 300 articles per month is giving too much time for very little... I would not prefer it.. It may be a legit site but does not seems to be worth the efforts....any was, as you said I will just try it and see...

How you make your money at helium is not by reading and rating but by competing in the contest and the marketplace. I use helium myself and have made over $75 in a month but it depends on how good you are, how much you write, how often you write...WRITE not read and rate to make good money. Also if you want to write short articles and make money that you will actually get than try www.textbroker.com where you get paid on the 5th and the 20th of every month.

I have never heard of Helium before.
As you have said above, Helium is not a scam. However, in my eyes, it may be not worth trying indeed because we can gain little money even if we spend much time on rating articles there. What's worse, I think most people have no ability of reaching their payout amount of $25.
Even if it is an old legitimate site where we can get paid, compared with myLot, it is nothing indeed. If one can want to earn by reading articles on Helium, I advise him/her to spend the same time on myLot, which is a better choice obviously.

I have earnt a fair bit of money on helium however its main focus is on writing good quality articles and the rating of other peoples articles is more of a sideline. I have certainly made more money on Helium then I have here. Like a lot of sites where you can earn money on the internet you need to know how Helium works and what methods help you earn money but it certainly can be done.

Helium is a writing site that encourages a high standard of writing, factually correct information and search engine friendly articles. Rating (reading articles) is only a small part of what Helium is about.
As a 5 star rater I do get paid $3 a month for my efforts, but that is just a small bonus on top of my regular writing income.
I earn thousands of dollars a year at Helium, but that is because I have been writing there for some time and have published hundreds of articles there. It is not a quick money-making scheme but a serious knowledge website that requires good writing, quality rating and dedication.

In my opinion i think the site is a waste of a time. It takes you atleast 300 articles to make $3. That too you are not sure if you will be paid for it or no. or you will have to rate 500 or more articles to get paid. And above that there is a 25 dollars payout limit. That totally sucks and i would certainly not give it a try at all. Better to spend more time on mylot then give that site a try.

Helium does a lot more than pay for rating articles. They pay for articles written; they pay for the number of times your article is read by someone else. They also make your work available to publishers, magazines, etc., and have had people get quite a bit of freelance work if they have articles accepted by the publishers or magazines. They also pay for contests and for articles written where no one else has written. My first couple of months, with contests, etc., I made well over $100 and wasn't working that hard to do it, since I love to write.
One requirement is that you have at least one rating star to get paid.

Hello, sn_2818184,
Readbud, was an interesting site that offered to pay different amounts for reading and rating different articles. What peaked my suspicion right away about them not being legitimate, was the amounts they were willing to pay per article. The amounts range from high double digits to high single digit amounts. This was exciting, it sounded to good to be true, and you know what they say, "If is sounds to good to be true," it is probably a scam.
I also had noticed the membership total, would drop from one day to the next, I guess these were the members who was lucky enough to find out about them and unscribed from the site.
Thanks, I will not participate any longer.

I know that this has been a perennial problem to so many girls but let's face it that guys are polygamous in nature and there's nothing you can do about it. Men could hardly find happiness nor to be faithful towards their partner, and i don't know why? Perhaps, what triggers them to cheat is their never ending quest for happiness, love and affection. But now a days, this is no longer applicable only to men because there are number of girls who are also cheaters and there open to such freaking idea. Who knows your girlfriend is one of them.

Thanks for reminding us about Helium...I haven't used that site in years. I don't think many Readbud users will be happy with it as it's a lot slower to earn there. However, at least it's real money you're earning and not imaginary stuff! What I don't remember about Helium is if you can earn just exclusively from reading and rating...do you not have to write articles if you don't want to?
