Are you closer to your relatives on your Dad's side or on your Mom's?

I am closer to my cousins on my Dad's side, they maybe boys but we can talk for hours and maybe even days with them. My cousins on my Mom's are too full of themselves, they are girls who talks about nothing else but LV's, Prada, Nine west. I like conversing with my male cousins as we can have debates, healthy discussion about stuffs and not just get stuck with shopping and what they bought. I am not jealous of what they can buy as I am not interested in what they like anyway. But it seems like nothing else is in between their ears but branded stuffs, and they bore me so much!

i think you should try to accept them, you can find something good about them. try to take an interest in what they like.
as me, i love my mom and dad both. couse they all care about me

Sorry, But I cannot pretend to like something that does not interest me at all. Why will I try to like buying branded things and talk about it for hours? Just to show off? I want to talk about other stuff other than getting stuck with just talking about " where did you get that fur? oh, at Mango? I bought my shoes at Prada and these are from Hermes and these are from Coach" its so.... boring! Anyway, I am referring to your Dad side of the relatives and your Mom side of the relatives, not your parents. :) I am a gadgets person not a bag person but we do not talk about where we bought our stuffs and what we bought. Accept them? Well, I do not have any other choice do I? I just do not talk to them. I hate show offs!
