Spider Man 4 Reboot

So I was just surfing the web and something reminded me of the next Spider-Man movie that was supposed to be coming out with Toby Maguire. I was surprised to find out that although they are still making a fourth spider man movie, Toby and the original director have left the project and this 4th movie is supposed to be a complete reboot of the franchise. I'm not entirely certain how I feel about that. I read over the script ideas they had had for the fourth movie with Toby and it looked like it would have been good. With the new guy coming in as Peter Parker though and them restarting the franchise with new characters and villians never in the comics or anything... I'm wondering how it's gonna do. What's your take?

Well i love spiderman movies right from young ages and wish to watch the 4th movie eagerly!

from what i've heard the new villan in spiderman 4 is going to be the crow. personally i think the crow as the main bad guy is weak. why not carnage instead which would be much cooler?

I read that as well. While I enjoyed the Spiderman movies, perhaps it is good to go in a new direction a la the Batman movies. In fact, look what it did for that franchise. They made a few too many of the original Batman movies to the point where they became silly. Then Christopher Nolan took over and they became totally interesting again. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
