Have You Ever Taken A Bath Whilst Very Drunk?

I can remember one time I did this (amazingly) haha!
It was about 4 years ago and definitely in hubby's house (where I am now) and we'd been out to watch the football, then stayed out later with a friend who had come to visit us from Brentford. The friend went to his hotel after we drank for what seemed like hours (with some fish and chips to soak it all up) and me and John finally got in the house around 11pm.
Suddenly, I decided that it would be a "great idea" for me to have a bath. So, out came the bubble-bath (suitably over the top with that and the amount of water I let in) and wondered why the water was more deep than usual. Because I was drunk I didn't care.
I often wonder what would've happened if I'd fallen asleep..probably drowned knowing my luck! I was texting on my phone as well, something I miss doing (but not in the bath as a rule) lol.
So, can you remember ever running a bath whilst being amazingly drunk? Did you overfill the bath? Did you fall asleep?

I wouldn't say overly drunk but definitely overly hung over lol. Just about 2 weeks ago after going out with my friend for her birthday I woke up still drunk, couldn't quit getting sick. So I spent almost all day either in the bath or in the shower. I almost fell asleep a few times since I couldn't lay down in bed without having to run to the bathroom. I did almost overfill it once I think too. That was a bad bad day for me. No one was here to take care of me either. I won't be doing that again for a while.

Yes with every hang over I say I never will drink again. Then I give in and say okay just a few, just because it's a special occasion. But then once you get started....lol. Yes my husband was at work unfortunately.

I used to be on downers for about 8 yrs of my life. Stoned out of my mind but I was a happy camper lol. Well needless to say that Ive taken lots of baths and showers while I was stoned out of my mind. I must have had an angel watching over me as nothing happened.
I could have killed myself in there by falling or drowned.
Glad nothing happened to you. Oh the things we do when we're young.
PS: I dont drink at all, so never had one when drunk, never had or did anything when drunk lol.

It happened to me, when my fiancé and I went out of town! We went on the beach and hired a cottage. We enjoyed the beach and I knew I drank much. So I went to the shower room. I just remember that my fiancé was knocking at the door and telling me to open the door. When I opened, he was a bit angry! He was alone in the bar and waiting for me to come back. He looked for me at the beach side but I was inside the shower room for 2 hours......lol

i have tried it and it was fun...i was so high i could hardly see anything. i went into the bathroom and started exercising...i was doing push ups...and i had forgotten to latch the door. And my brother saw me and they had a hearty laugh the next day....i was in the bathroom more than an hour...i dont even remember if i used the shampoo that night. But gone are those days when i used to be drunk.

Haha! The things we do...fortunately, I don't drink so much that I can't remember what I did the night before. Those days are long gone!

No, drinking is so bad for you guys you should weigh the pros and cons again, so many things can happen . what if you like drown yourselves while filling the tub because you're that intoxicated. what if you drive because you're so off and really think you can make it hoome cause you're 5 minutes away. lets value our lives a little more this isn't funny anymore, people are dying because no one knows how to drink in moderation. =(

yes i've tried this. i didn't sleep or throw up. it made me more relax and awake in fact. i remember the last time i did this. i felt so cold and refreshed but my head is still crawling. nice feeling. but i suggest, don't do this more often. i guess it's not okay. have some sleep and im sure you're still a little drunk when you wake up and that's the time you do this, get some food and take a bath.

Thanks for the advice. Usually, I do what you describe..sleep it off THEN have a bath or shower in the morning. I just did it the other way round on this occasion!

Nope i seldom get over drunk and i would be really careful when i booze in public places.Would see that i'm home as soon as possible so i wouldn't create a mess around.There were times when we had to force my friends to take a shower---they vomited after getting drunk completely and exhibit their dancing and singing skills which can be really funny.great day.

The last time I did that was at my wedding do. A good time was had by all, so much so the in-laws went home early (no stamina) lol.

Yeah i did once and it was not a great idea as i remember almost slipping and hitting my head.When taking a bath drunk you have to be careful as you are more likely to have an accident then when you are sober.Its best if you lie down for a while before taking a bath and then going in when you are not as drunk.

I've only done it once but yes, you are right, having a bath whilst drunk is not a good idea. I remember having a massive headache afterwards so it didn't relax me like a "normal" bath would've done!

Just make sure you don't overfill the bath...I would feel guilty if anything awful happened to you..like drowning or something. Remember, you can drown in only a couple of inches of water, so think on!

you really took a big risk ! i didn't and will never make this ,since it's so dangerous! i dare not to image someone falling sleep when he takes a bath,drunk...

That's just it...I didn't fall asleep as I still had all my faculties..
