I dont think rihanna should be thankful to what Chris Brown has done her. I think she should be thankful that early on in the relationship when they have not married yet that she already knows that Chris is a batterer or a physical abuser. I think she just matured and has explored another side of her and she is coping with her past by making all those nice songs and in return she is making a lot of money.

well in my opinion, her music changed before she got beat up by chris brown because she went from being all inocent with her island sound to making songs and videos where she was barely dressed or not dressed at all (like in "umbrella". there is one point where she is only wearing silver paint). so i dont think she should thank him for anything. i think she really hit it big when "good gril gone bad" came out. i know that's when i started to like her music better. but now i dont really like either of them that much
