When the internet is down how do you feel

When the internet is down, I get very restless and want to turn it on again immediately. I will call up people and check. Also the same happens when the electric current goes off. I think I am addicted to the computer and the internet.

It is suprising how quickly you get hooked on it. It is almost like an addiction. I have heard rumors that they are going to start charging to be on some sites, so that will probably keep some people off line. It is good that you have cut down on smoking however you did it.

I'll goof around on the computer, play games, make jewelry, maybe type a story, read a book - I hate it! I wanna be online and mylot or play my online games!

I feel down. so boring without it. I need some movies if my internet is down, I need a game if it is down. Anything that I can do offline. if there's no movie, no games at all, then I would shut the thing and go out.

That is a real bonus, cutting on smoking. When I am at work, I just have to get online. I need to check emails and chat with friends. I would get bored easily when the internet was off and what I did for the day is typing reports after reports.

Well, I do miss sudoku when it's down, but other than that I really don't care that much. I have a sudoku book , but it's easier to erase mistakes online. If I'm really bored, I just take a nap, or two, or three.

NO wonder u are not around for that period of time!! haha =D I found my inbox so empty without much of your started discussions!! lol =D I will feel bored if i'm facing the same problem too for we might be overly reliant on the internet now, and thus when it's down, we will feel kinda lost too.. haha =D But luckily for me, i'm able to surf using my phone too, just that i have to make do with the speed and screen size.. haha

my laptop plays up on a regular basis so i quite often can't access the internet,i hate it,especially if there is nothing good on telly

I feel like someone just took away my favorite toy - ha ha!! The internet is my window to the outside world when I'm at home with the kids. I'm here and on Facebook - oh and one survey site . . . but otherwise, I'm always researching stuff. So if I don't have any internet access, I get rather antsy - like I'm missing out on something!!

As i work online sweetie, for me it is a very big issue when the internet is down. You should see my tantrums. Quite a sight. TATA.

I absolutely hate it when the internet is down. It turns my world completely around and it messes up the routine...lol That when you know you are completely dependent on it. My internet was down before I went on vacation last week, and it just felt like it ruined the week. Once, I finally got on then I had to hurry to make reservations for a hotel and check on the websites that I normally get on. It was a pain!!!

My neighbors always know when the internet is down at my house. They can tell by the blood-curdling scream that emanates from my bedroom! LOL

I get really bored, but I try to keep myself occupied with other things because I need to keep writing because I get paid for my reviews and I just write them on my computer and then I send them to the sites I'm with if the internet goes down, I just have to send them later.

I think I couldn't live without Internet. I need it for e-mail, checking my grades and other things - basically I need it for everything. So when there is no Internet, I either go to the TV, read a book or go for a walk :D

What I can say is an internet is part of daily active life and seemed I can't live without it. Once it went downed I felt missing a lot especially for my Vlog updating. In every two or three days I got to upload new video to update my Vlog content. If I didn't received it from the supplier site, I've to produce mine.

I like your question. I actually can die if there is no internet, it's like I don't know what to do anymore!! I'm in front of the computer, but my web browser cannot go to any sites I want to go.. and even though I can play my games without being online and watch my movies or dramas, I don't know without internet, I feel like my computer is like useless, like it's not whole or something.. *Shrugs*

If my internet is down, Im right away on the phone to ask them WHAT IS GOING ON!! I had a problem with my cable connection a while back, every Friday at 9PM it would go down for 1 hr. I was on the phone with them and wouldnt let go until they'd tell me what the hell was wrong. I made such a fuss that finally they sent me a credit for the time loss!!!! Sometimes you need to give them hell so they know you're NOT happy and ask for a credit. We pay for a service and we should be able to enjoy that service all the time. We do tend to smoke less when not in front of our screens haha.....well one good thing came out of it for you!!

Well, In our country, the connection speed sucks, and when the internet is down, it's like adding insult to injury! It just ruins my day.

I'm probably being a little picky here, but I've never know the internet to be down. I've lost my connection when my cable company had problems for several hours, but the internet was there whether I could reach it or not. But whatever the reason, being without it can drive a person crazy. I was without a computer for a week at a time twice in the last few months, and I did just about go nuts. In a way, it's a shame that we depend on it so much, but nothing else provides me with some of the things that are most important to me. Can't even check the durned weather report.

Yeah, i totally know how you feel. I found it uncomfortable to not be able to see news. Its even harder to get something that can get your mind busy
