I call cops pigs because that is what I heard from people. I think they call them pigs for some of them accept bribes and do police brutality though that really doesn't make sense since pigs do no harm to man as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure but I also think that pigs have nothing to do with cops. What do you think? If you don't know the answer please don't look it up the internet so it doesn't ruin your opinion.

The original term is traced to a comment in the 60's, it refers to police wearing gas masks, the type in use basically has large plastic or glass eye pieces and it formed a snout over the mouth and nose because of the filters used.As a result, it looked amazingly like a pigs snout- from wearing the gas mask. OR "It may have come from "Animal Farm" references. The cops responded by referring to pig as an acronym Pride, Integrity , Guts."

Friend promptly no body will work in this world if they work also for some reason they have to other type of work which they are not in mood to do it but still the situation makes them to do like that. Any way Coming to the police subject they should think twice before saying anything about the particular person, but they won't do that and most of the police man will accept bribes that is the main big mistake what they do is. And they won't behave properly with normal person but they will be like dogs infront of the politicians because if this policeman do something then they will fire him permanently.

I know some people call them "pigs" because they say they are not fair when it comes to abiding by laws like the rest of us citizens that are not Police officers. They say just as the animal "pig" is dirty so are cops. I personally teach my son they are called Police officers and they are not perfect just like all humans are not perfect.

I didn't even know people still called cops "pigs."
That term came from the rebellious '60s with the hippie movement who were against the "establishment" including law enforcement.
