If My Blog Gets Deleted Permanently That's It, I'm FINISHED With The Internet!

I have put a lot of hard work into my Blogger blog. I began typing from my 5 year diary starting from 1978. I am now on a week to view 1986 diary and loving typing the entries from it...until now.
Google had suspended my blog as it has detected "unusual acitivity" on my account. What on earth does that mean? I cannot log into Google (including Gmail) as the system is asking for my mobile phone number to verify my account. I cannot do this as I no longer have a mobile phone. Why do they think we all have one? WE DON'T!
I am so fed up. Has this ever happened to you? Was it resolved satisfactorily and were you able to log into your blog once more? If my blog gets permanently deleted, that's it, I shall no longer use the internet. There's one thing I cannot stand is for something of mine to get deleted and I have no idea why, it doesn't matter if it's temporary or not. The fact that it has been done without me being notified (until I tried signing into my blog) makes my blood boil even more.

I hear ya. after all that work and what for? its so frusterating im sure. its like this youtube account i had. i was a partner on youtube and i have a ton of subscribers. then people flagged my youtube videos and next thing i know i was suspended. then my account got reinstated and then finally it was deleted! i lost all my subs and i decided to make a new youtube account. but it wasnt the same. my first account made a HUGE impact. so i deffintley know what its like to have hard work put in and then have it shuved back in your face.

So sorry that happened to you. If I was in China I suppose I could understand it..and my blog certainly wasn't offensive in any way. I can only assume it's been hacked. A friend of mine had that happened to her and she's up and running again. I think I might contact her to see if she managed to get ALL her blog back.

May be you should give up typing entries for a while then start typing again when you feel like it

Nice to hear that. I just hate seeing someone else's hardwork going down like dominos. :P

that's odd.they really need to define what they mean by that.
that's the problem with "free" sites.you're at their mercy if they decide they don't like your content,or for any other reason they deem fit.

My blog was deleted from blogger.com for no apparent reason around two years ago. It had grown to be very popular and I had a lot of visiters to left comments. I e-mailed them to ask why this had happened, but received no reply whatsoever. I wouldn't leave the Internet, but swopped over to Wordpress for a free blog with them, and it's been fine. I have slowly built up a following there too, but feel much more secure that my blog just won't disappear from the net.
I was angry at the time too, thinking about quitting the net altogether, but then I thought, why "cut off my nose" there are bound to be alternatives. So I just pulled myself up by my bootstraps and got over my problems and got on with the net. All forgotten now, and I'm pleased I didn't turn my back on the net. _Derek

It's all been resolved now (with hubby's intervention) but I did take it upon myself to copy and paste the entries I have made into a word file and copied all that onto a memory stick. I shall get into the habit of doing this whenever I input any more diary entries onto my blog..so I suppose all this has taught me a valuable lesson..which is, back-up important stuff!

I know what you're going through! I had this wonderful blog. I am building my income online as well. I think the site was blogger or something like that. I had all the right key words in the title and catered to the older crowd. Then I became ill, in the hospital and then recovery. I went into my blog and guess what? It acted like it had a virus or something. I deduced they removed my blog for lack of MY activity, not my followers. Damn. I produced no argument, I moved on.

That must've been so annoying for you, I do sympathise. It really was a massive undertaking of mine, blogging all my diaries. I guess they shall gather dust in my rucksack and will be buried (or cremated) along with me.
