Am a newbie here at mylot and I realized I have been so cooped up with work that I stayed within the confines of my little world. Signing up in mylot opened new vistas for me and pulled me out from my little world and introduced me into a bigger world. Still hesitant sometimes to venture into other sites but am sure will overcome this. I hope. How about you, what is your plus experience in social networking?

It's so nice that you are enjoying MyLot. I've gotten a lot out of this website and if it weren't for MyLot I wouldn't have heard about Swagbucks and I wouldn't have found a great place for me to find answers that I was looking for.

hi figurativeme,
It is a nice experience for me actually. Socializing on the net is somewhat another door where I could express my feelings. 
Here, I got to learn new things and hear new perspective that can be helpful in my daily life. Mylot for me is a place where I could throw out ideas and point of view. Like you, I also go here to relieve stress from work and sometimes "life" as a whole.
I sometimes get bored with some dramas here and there so I just need a break from it and find mylot as a whole new world of life exploration. But I must admit that I had moments that I can't be here and had to face things outside this "online world" and it took me mostly weeks to get back in here and see what's happening.
Mylot, Facebook and Twitter are the only social sites that I am into. I can't think of anything better from Mylot, really.

I join Mylot last week. I found that this forum is wondeful. I used to chat on YM before but I think that this site offers me the opportunity to meet friends and share ideas, stories and even advise.
