I really don't have much to update on my crafts. All I've gotten done today was to work on the coasters. I have only one of 4 complete so far, so not going to make my goal of posting the giveaway on my blog tomorrow unless I can get the rest of them done in the morning. It's been a busy day. It's my oldest granddaughter's 6th birthday. I've been up and around most all day. Cleaning the house to have the party....the actual party...then cleaning up after the party. Until tomorrow, Marsha

I started tonight getting things ready for the fall craft fair I will attend in Sept. I am getting excited. I have another order for 70 cards I have to finish.

I am going to have to come to see the Farmer's Market this next summer to see what is cool to do or buy.

I wish I had someone to travel with to craft shows. They aren't offered locally...well, there is the art fair once a year. I might see about the cost of setting up at it next year. If I do, then I really need to get busy making things. Otherwise, we can also sell our crafts at the Farmer's Market. I think it's $25 a year membership there and $25 a year fee to the city for a local business license. Marsha

ROFL.....you know, I've had 2009 on all my posts since I started them! Yeah, I do it all the time when I am posting something with a date on gather too. I don't know if I can edit, but if I can, I will go change them. Thanks for waking me up. Marsha

Nope, you cannot edit here. Oh, well, People know what year it is. I have also written checks with the wrong dates, and that is much more serious than here. You are a busy lady.

How are you making these coasters? I am inter3ested in knowing, as I have some people who might like them as Christmas gifts. I do not work on my crafts enough so I need to start early. I love new craft ideas.

My coasters are made with a simple plastic canvas square. I then do a little design. I also put a blank plastic canvas square on the bottom and sew it around to extra thickness. I once had a man order 30 coasters from me, and he paid me double because he wanted both sides filled in. Sure wish I could get more orders like that. The smaller crafts are so easy to work on while I wait for pages, or games to load while I sit at the computer. Also I carry a ziploc bag with materials for my smaller crafts in my tote while I am out and about. Marsha

You can post periodic updates just make sure they are a discussion and not just informational. Tell about a technique you used or ask a question of some sort that we can respond to and you should be fine.

I can never get anything done on the day of a party, too busy cooking and doing last minute cleaning. I may get to peek at my lap top a couple of times but that is about all the time I get. So I am impressed by the fact that you got one coaster done, I am sure if I did that I would not get any done. All of my online work goes out the door on party days, which happen a lot here with 3 kids and the fact that we host a 4th of July party and Thanksgiving, and sometimes Memorial Day and Labor day if no one else will do it.
