Hi Surya
I have never made one, because they are readily available here in the stores that sell cages for birds, the food for birds, cats, dogs,, making one might be costlier..
Thanks for sharing.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
We are observing today 15th August
Cheers.

Thank you, and Happy Independence Day to you too prof!
And may we live long enough to see a strong uni-polarized stand in national conscience, conviction and expedition with regard to burning national priorities, among politicians, the judiciary, citizens' basic rights and the bureaucracy (government).

The reason I had asked for "how to make a bird cage" is that I have to submit an article on that, as I am living off only freelancing now. I wanted to gather fresh points to expand upon.

By the way, Professor,
Speaking of birdcages, how do you like this birdhouse I made?

I have only made them out of milk cartons but those were more feeders then houses. With that you just punch two holes at the top to run a string through for hanging on the tree and then cut an opening for the birds in the bottom of the carton then put bird seed in and hang, but like I said that is more of a feeder. It would not really be good for nesting. Here is a really good article about making bird houses and some other information about them. http://www.essortment.com/all/birdhousebirds_rnem.htm
