Interesting Wake-Up Today

After making my cup of tea I did my usual remote control treasure hunt (my partner seems to constantly find interesting new places to hide it) and down the back of the sofa, I found: a 20p coin, a pair of scissors and an extremely large hammer.
Now I'm just waiting for my Mr. to get home from work so he can explain to me why he's using the sofa to try and maim me! I'm keeping the 20p
What's down the back of your sofa? Do you think my partner was secretly trying to set up a death trap for me?
I still didn't find the remote!

why would he try to kill you? hahaXD
i'm sorry about laughing. i'm not sure if you're serious about your suspicion.
though i do hope you're not... because if you were, it would be...sad.
when was the last time you checked that part of the sofa?
couldn't those have gotten there because someone (him?) honestly forgot to put them back where they're supposed to be?
maybe he's trying to build something (hammer...) for you~:)
and had to hide the stuff...somewhere...which eventually happened to be your sofa...
have you found your remote yet?
good luck on that~(^_^)
and... at the back of our sofa there'd probably be...nothing. nothing really.
my mom would kill anyone who'd stick stuff in there.;)

Oh I'm not at all serious!
I really don't know how the hammer or scissors got there. Change is one thing, but tools is another and just weird! Mind you, he is a rather weird fella. That's one of the reasons I love him.
I found the remote! It was in the magazine rack! Where will it be tomorrow? Who can say!

Oh well, I'll just have to post a disclaimer: I am in no actual danger!
Thank you for the post and the suggestion. I have found his socks in the fridge before! He said he had no memory of putting them there!

seems like you're in a very nice relationship with that weird fella~!

Ha! I like that.
I don't think ours gets cleaned unless we have a missing TV remote (that's usually where it is to be found!)

Now that you've brought this to my attention, I just realized I haven't checked the sofa in a few months. Hmmmmm what could be in there?
The last time I vacuumed in behind the sofa cushions I came up with over three dollars in change, a few chip crumbs, a knitting needle (I was looking for that), my grand-daughter's socks, and a DVD.
I don't have much trouble with the remote when it's just Mike and me but when the grand-kids come it gets really challenging. I think they should put one of those little receivers on it like they do on portable phones. Press a button and voila, you've found the remote.

Yours is a regular piggybank! Not a bad haul!
I can never find the remote. He's a nightmare with it!

It was in the magazine rack! It's like a daily "Where's Waldo?"! Always keeping me guessing!

I just love your discussion question!
I bet most people can relate to this. I never really found anything in my couch, but I've cleaned out my closets a bunch of times and was like 'Whoa. I still have this?' or 'Where did this come from?' The best part is when you find things that you could use, especially money.

Thanks. When you find actual paper money, it's awesome. Unless it's been through the washing machine!

I'm quite envious. My partner is the most disorganized person I know! It's so frustrating. He's always losing things and making a mess! I wish our house was more organized.

I'm only joking. We're always teasing each other like this. The hammer and scissors were just a bit of a shock. I'm not sure how they got down there or what would have happened if I'd suddenly sat down heavily or awkwardly!
