How is the LGBT Market?

Unless you live in a large metropolitan area, you'll probably have trouble finding much in the bookstores, or in the library. There's a huge amount online, some of it free, and some from publishers. I suggest you join Goodreads. It's a book site where people list the books they own, review them, and get together in groups to discuss and recommend them. Two of the groups I belong to there are M/M Romance and Queereaders. The nice thing is that most of the books that are reviewed have links to the sites where they can be found. There's also a small LGBT group on the Writer's Digest Community. It's a huge market and growing fast, but it's still on "the fringes" as far as regular publishing is concerned. There are some authors who publish only on the web and their work is usually free. Others offer some free content, but also publish, either independently or with a publisher.
