morning or a visit to the gym for weights. For others, it could be walks in the evening (maybe with the family dog) at the park. But is exercise a part of your lifestyle? Or do you just flop onto your chair once you get home and make little attempts to do workouts, however small. Or hit the PC for gaming sessions. For myself, I enjoy doing stretching exercises - everytime when i feel under-exercised or feeling quite bloated after a heavy meal. And before going to bed, again another round of stretches. I understand that some aerobic exercises help to stretch the lungs and quicken one's hearbeat rate - which is a good thing every once in a while. Also, some intake of fresh air is good besides raising the metabolism. So do you make efforts to exercise every day?

Since I no longer have a car, I now do a lot more walking to places. Now, since it has been so hot lately, I have been traveling with two bags. My backpack holds drinks and food. Usually like 2 gallons of water, and a gallon of milk or two gallons of milk and a gallon of water, and two sandwiches for a snack. The other bag holds my other stuff so that it doesn't get wet from the condensation, or groceries. Three gallons of something used to be heavy, but I guess from all of the walking, it's not heavy now (that, and I drink this stuff while I am out, my body needs lots of fuel). Also, since I have no car, I have gone back to a bicycle, and already I feel the effects. The last time I commuted with a bike, I always had a lot of books with me, and ended up with seriously muscular legs. This time, I am also weight lifting for the sake of bulking up (I am already big, but want to be bigger and stronger), so now that my schedule has freed up a bit, you can probably find me hitting the weights.

keep it up agent in taking the tougher but maybe healthier route. I guess alot of planning has to be involved also as to what can one bring and how much. Hope the body toning will be revealed in good time.

Whoa, "everyday" is a high aim, maybe if you asked about "every week", I can answer better I think my exercise includes some walking everyday (not really counted maybe because I have to walk to get to the train and to get my lunch) and cycling on weekends to get my groceries and of course, my 1.5 hour yoga every saturday morning. Is that enough exercise for a week?

hi bmp, i think some stretching exercise on a daily basis would help with the flexibility part. For myself, I am working hard on my stamina too.

Yes,i do exercises everyday like walking for about 30 mins in the morning and 30 mins in the afternoon too. It helps me to avoid leg cramps esp at night, and walking also helps me to have a good sleep also. I been doing this for more than a month already and it really helps me a lot to relax and release some stress. Happy mylotting and have a wonderful weekdays

hi jaiho, thanks for sharing. How about putting your foot in a pail of warm water before sleeping. I think it helps with the blood circulation and maybe your leg cramps too.

to be honest, i don't exercise like i should. but i really don't need it lol. no just playing. everybody can use a little exercise. but i work, really long and hard hours. so thats pretty much my exercise. I have co-workers loosing weight because of where we work (we are banquet servers by the way). but as for going to the gym and all i don't. i use to go walking in my neighboorhood until i realized it was a bad idea to go alone. so i stopped. but i will soon start back walking, i'm sure.

hi keshia - seems like your job provides you with enough exercise and on your toes. But do learn to relax when the time calls for it.

Doing exercise must be included in our day life because by doing this we can keep our body fit.going to gym is not required.one hour running and one hour breathing exercise is enough for keeping our body fit.this relieves our tensions and keep our body fit.everyday running controls diabetes and produce insulin required for our body.breathing exercise relieves tensions and controls blood pressure and keep us away from heart attack.we should not fail to work on this two exercise for keeping us away from those diseses.all the best.

hi suryaannamdevula - thanks for your sharing. Yup, keeping the body fit will keep in control the ill effects of being over-weight and the problems due to that. Also will tone up the muscles

I try to, even if just for five minutes, after I get back home from that long tiring work. Yes, I need to do that to help relieve the physical fatigue. When I have more time, when I get back home early enough, I would go out jogging in the park near my home. That is a favorite place in town for joggers of all ages. Very nice environment !

hi greenline, I'm glad you make a beeline to the park every other day for that workout. I realised that sweating out is quite good coz it makes me sleep better at night. Haha. So more pluses for that little stretch.

carpediem oh you make me hang my head in shame as I should do some sortof exercise everyday. but its not all together laziness on my part. I have a bad foot and a worse left shoulder. I had the joint replaced by metal and plastic after a horrible fracture and have lost most of the use of my left arm. thus a lot of exercise I used to do I cannot do now.Walking is also hard right now as I wear a brace on left leg and orthopedic ugly cloddish shoes.they are so worn and I am going to have to get new ones so I can walk again for exercise.Just a little matter of two hundred dollars co pay on the very expensive orthopedic shoes.

oh Hatley you are making me hang my head in shame for making you feel bad ... with the little 'injuries' and 'aches' you have. But really, some form of blood circulation for the body may alleviate some of these pains. Perhaps like some exercise pulling rings that might help maintain some form of exercise for the arms. Raising your foot up and down for feet exercise. Also, maybe before turning in for the night, put your feet in a pail of warm water as it would help in blood circulation again. Hope this helps. Take care.

I don't really exercise every day. I will walk to and from a lot of places, and that's pretty much the extent of my exercise.

hi dodo, that sounds fine too, definitely not so sedentary a lifestyle. Keep it up.

I liked to take exercise every week before. But now , I just think I am a lazy bone and i hardly don't do exercise.Sometimes I feel tired easily because I doon't pay attention to my health. Running is a good way to keep healthy. I could run 5000m everyday ever before.

i think once you get into the groove, going for that exercise is quite easy. But once relaxed too much, sigh ... I will be too comfortable to move. So importantly, cannot be too comfortable.

hi ash_gray, sounds like you are doing ok. I do need inspiration or motivation sometimes to work out too. Especially when there is a sporting event like the Commonwealth Games, Olympics or Asian Games, I enjoy watching the Games and will be motivated to do more exercises.

i going exercise in morning at trice a week, but not like a jumping, running or jogging, I'm not go out at home when I'm going exercise, I'm going stretching inside the house, and dancing in the morning while listen the music. after that we going to clean the house, is a good exercise also, but stretching is my first to do when i going up in bed and before i going to dance and work, so that cant get suddenly/shock your muscle and nerve in your body, you should do step by step and slowly, breath always a fresh air in the morning i can do,and drink a lot of water to give the energy in your body, mind, heart, and even my soul, that's like say the old people " the fresh air is the fresh life in your fresh morning". exercise can help to fight the cancer.

hi melgrace, thanks for replying. I think it is really good to move about and have some exertions to check whether one is fit or not. I think I will get really worried if I pant too much with only little exertions. Remember, Health is Wealth.
