I would have to say it all depends. You may be able to find another couch that isn't necessarily new but smells better for a good price. I am not sure how much it would cost reupholster a couch as we've never had it done, but you could always call someone who does it and explain the situation and see if they have any recommendations to get it to smell better, and also get a quote on how much it would cost.

Hello i think it is sinking because of low quality foam or cotton inside, in my opinion you can contact a dealer near your house and get it exchanged against a new having high density polystyrence foam of 4" thickness, this will cost less too..

You could probably save a few dollars if you try to save what you already have. The only problem is finding the best place to do this for you. in the long run, it would probably just be best to purchase a new one instead. A new one would be less headache than going through everything to reupholster. If it was me, i would buying new.

i too will buy a new one, who know how long could the couch takes before it start to sink again. and i think you would save more buying a new one!! ^^
